President's Letter September 2009

You are here

Dear friends and members of the AGBC Berlin,

We have been busy in the last months with changing the image of our club.

Through the usage of a sustained and an intensive dialog with representatives of the US Embassy, we have been able to mutually determine which fields and subjects our events should present. Such shall even further lead to co-operation, as long as several members and friends as possible take part in our event with the former Ambassador of Germany to Cuba Dr. Bernd Wulffen on the 22 September 2009 in the Berlin Marriott Hotel.
Dr. Wulffen: U.S. Foreign Relations to Cuba - a German Point of View“ will most definitely be presenting a very interesting subject matter. Invitations will be sent out in a timely manner, so as to better organize a definite guest list.
As you may have already noticed, Tuesday is Newsday“ which will be a reading from Alexander von Engelhardt. Alexander is known for raising the brow when regarding new events and getting new members interested in club activities. You will be able to find all of our events, in detail, posted on our website (in the upper left corner)
In the same manner, our member Heidemarie Klein, München/Berlin, also uses this posting method to inform of national events such as ICF Deutschland Konferenz 2009 in Düsseldorf (26. Sept. 2009).
We maintain that in this way, business networks function more sensibly and efficiently.
In our new members directory (containing all business information about our members as well as tariffs and fees in the club) is finally being finished. It shall be released, as proposed, toward the end of this September.
Once again I thank you for all of you interest in our events and would also like to thank the tireless labour committed by Ms Mena Jessen.
Udo v. Massenbach
P.S. In the case anyone may have over read information in the beginning of this letter, the AGBC e.V. is a non-profit organisation.
