The Covid-19 pandemic has brought new and urgent challenges to worker’s rights around the world. Working people, especially low-wage workers in essential jobs, have been on the front lines of the pandemic for the last year.

Join us for a live, interactive conversation that will highlight some of the ways that labor rights are under threat during the crisis, and the innovative ways that labor unions are exploring to protect vulnerable workers.

This discussion will touch on themes including health and safety, sick leave, the impact of work from home, job loss and recovery plans, and the gendered dynamic of the pandemic’s impact on workers. Speakers will also explore the opportunities and need for labor rights reforms as part of any just rebuilding package.
